Welcome to the Bangor Mini Rugby Festival...

Jamie Bill from sponsors Bloomfield Shopping Centre and Retail Park with Michael Mahood and Michael McCracken from Bangor RFC, join some of the players set to take part in the Bangor Mini Rugby Festival.

Thanks to all those who made the Bangor Rugby annual Floodlit Mini-Rugby Festival the success it was. Whilst the weather was somewhat inclement and the ground soggy in places more than 250 players, coaches and referees braved the elements to stage the event.

Thanks again to all of the sponsors, especially Bloomfield Shopping Centre and Retail Park, Spectator Newspapers, Irwin's bakery and Cookstown and Regency Cars who as ever supported this festival with their kind sponsorship. Without such support we simply could not have run the festival.

Thanks also to all those who purchased tickets for the charity ballot. We were delighted to raise £430 for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children (NICFC) - a local charity which supports families and children of the age who played in the floodlit festival. The results of the ballot along with details of how to claim prizes are displayed on the NICFC page of this site (see the link in the navigation bar above).

See you all again next year...
